Hounslow, UK// An enthustastic (and very creative!) team from Sabre in London spent the day at a local children’s nursery. The directive was to make the garden area a place where the children could engage in more imagitive play whilst ensuring learning every step of the way.
The result was a clearer garden area, where stonework was washed, lawns were mowed and soil was primed so the children could plant seeds in a vegetable patch.
Walls and fences were not left alone! We painted, murals, letters, numbers and shapes in all colours promoting alpha numeric and colour recognition. There was also a caterpillar number trail painted on the walkway leading into the nursery!
All in all, we had a fantastic day helping make the garden area a more exciting place for the children, supporting Government schemes to encourage outdoor play for young children. Hopefully the attached pictures will go some way towards depicting efforts.
